Consultation and Brief
We meet for a consultation to view the garden and discuss the client’s aims, ambition and wish list for the garden.  Based on this we produce a written design brief with the design fee proposal.

Site Survey & Analysis
A topographical survey is carried out to accurately measure the garden.  This records any features, trees, levels and other details required for the design. We conduct further site analysis to accompany the survey, noting factors that will influence the design. This gives us the opportunity to explore the landscape in more detail.

Design Concept and Masterplan
This is the overall garden plan outlining the layout and geometry of the design. With a 3D model and a scaled 2D plan we help you visualize the garden, discussing any changes and ensuring you are happy with how it will look.

Design Detailing
We produce a full set of plans including levels, lighting design, paving selection, construction drawings and a specification which go out to tender to selected landscape construction companies.  We take pride in our detailing, making sure every aspect of the garden is considered right down to the spacing of stepping stones to suit a client’s stride. These are the plans a contractor needs to quote and build the garden.  Where necessary we work with other specialists such as architects and engineers to ensure the best solutions for your garden. We are experienced in submitting drawings for planning applications.

Planting Design
Sustainability is at the forefront with our detailed planting plans designed to suit the location.  We have many years of horticultural experience working across a vast range of soil types and know how to create beautiful gardens that provide interest throughout the year.

Tendering and Project Monitoring.
We have a network of high quality landscapers and contractors we work with to ensure your garden is built to the highest standards. We help you select the right contractor for the job and oversee the build, making sure everything runs smoothly and you have a beautiful garden to enjoy for years to come.

Aftercare
We can provide an aftercare guide or work with you or your gardener to understand the development of the garden. We are also happy to do carry out reviews at intervals throughout the year especially in the early stages to ensure the garden develops well.
