Plantswoman’s Garden Hertfordshire

The garden uses plants with origins from all over the world. The selection reflects the owners interest and passion for plants from particular countries. The garden consists of three levels with steps leading from one to the next. An oval lawn sits at the centre, wrapped by deep planting beds. On each side paths lead through luxurious planting which creates secret passages including a shady ‘jungle’ designed with her children in mind. Planting screens the trampoline and swings, and there are several areas for relaxing on the deck or outside the garden studio. Vegetable beds are for soft fruit, cut flowers and vegetables.
