A Rooftop Oasis

This colourful garden transforms a harsh city rooftop into a soothing oasis.  By introducing lush planting and multiple seating areas, the design softens and expands the space, creating a feeling of being immersed in nature.  Lightweight, low-maintenance containers bring height and drama.  Evergreens enhance the sense of privacy and provide important wind filtering.

The planting is wild and vibrant, peaking with an explosion of colour in summer for parties and entertaining. In the evening, dramatic downlighting from the pergola throws a soft pool of light across the space, creating a sense of intimacy – and even romance!
